EFT: A to Z Video Series [Q]: Questions in an EFT Session

Q: Questions asked in the context of an EFT session. When working with a client, it is important to consider asking questions to 1. keep the client focused on the events at hand 2. find out if there’s been a shifting aspect 3. locate other earlier events that could be at the core of the issue 4. make sure you have an understanding of the focus of the event or trigger 5. make sure you have the client’s words and understanding of the problem for achievable results.

In this session, Alina Frank has her client start by describing the issue, locates a recent event, then asks questions to jump into the earlier connections. Basic Short Cut EFT and Sneaking Away are used in this session.

This video is not a substitute for live in-person training in EFT aka Emotional Freedom Techniques aka Tapping. The intention here is to 1. Educate the public at large about the quality work done in a real unedited EFT session 2. Have students/mentees of EFT learn different concepts/skills 3. Use as a tap along Borrowing Benefits exercise. To use this video as a way to “borrow benefits” for yourself, write down something that’s bothering you. Give it an intensity level of 0-10. Put that aside and just focus on tapping and repeating what’s being said. Don’t think about what you’ve written. After the session is over look back over at what you’ve written and feel the change.
