Back pain is a rampant, pervasive and expensive problem. Over 70% of individuals suffer severe back pain in their lives with nearly one third suffering from severe back pain in the prior 30 days. As a chiropractor for over 30 years, Craig has treated thousands of back pain patients and has witnessed the mind body interactions regarding causality and chronicity of back pain both personally and professionally. In this podcast we touch on the most recent research demonstrating EFT’s effectiveness for chronic pain, the growing acceptance from a neuroscience perspective of back pain being much more than a “physical” issue and how through a META Health lens we can begin to explore and target the emotional roots of both acute and chronic back pain issues.
