Best Practices to Use When Tapping for Physical Conditions
- Do you find yourself challenged to help clients with health conditions who seek your services?
- Do you wish you had a system to help you become a better detective with this topic?
- Do you know which specifically tailored questions to ask to assist your client to more quickly unlock the body’s healing power?
One of the most common questions we receive from our EFT students, mentees and the public is “How do you use EFT Tapping for my ____ condition?” The truth is that evidence-based EFT doesn’t ascribe to the popular yet misguided notion that everyone with a certain condition can resolve it with a “one size fits all” approach. For one individual, a history of migraines might be linked to problems with their spouse which is also connected to the unsolved emotional pain they have with their mothers. For another person with migraine headaches it could be connected to a single traumatic event involving sexual injury.
When you (and your clients) learn to look through the lens that demonstrates that the body is always doing its best to heal and survive, then the symptoms begin to look more the pieces of a puzzle awaiting the right perspective and the wisest detective. Using a trauma informed approach to connect how the body in specific ways to unique adverse experiences helps can prove incredibly helpful to shortcut and quickly get to the root of the client’s concerns.
After working with thousands of private clients in both our EFT practices and Craig’s chiropractic clinic, we have learned to key in on patterns that help to create a more targeted approach to the myriad of health conditions that arrive at our doorstep. Our clinical experience is also significantly aided by our backgrounds as certified Meta-Health practitioners and we want to share what we know to help you access more tools to help you become more effective with your clients, many of whom likely are struggling with these issues.
